Group Mission
The QNP Group engages in theoretical and experimental
research in nanophotonics,
as well as the fabrication, with an emphasis on quantum structures and
quantum phenomena.
We are motivated by applications in a range of research areas including
information processing, imaging, and sensing.
Our research involves fundamental and applied studies in plasmonics,
metamaterials, quantum optics, and optical neuron networks. Topics of recent interest include:
- Quantum
optics
- Plasmonics and
nanophotonics
- Non-Hermitian
optics
- Optical
computation and deep learning
- Optical
metamaterials and metasurface
- Metallic &
semiconductor quantum wells
